A Fundraiser for Caritas GAZA /a-fundraiser-for-caritas-gaza/ Sun, 31 Aug 2025 19:54:53 +0000 /?p=9198 Cardboard City

The students of 91°µÍø invite your support for their 2025 Caritas Challenge, which is to live and eat simply for 6 hours on-site and a further 10 hours (including overnight) in their own homes.Ìý

Cardboard City is our opportunity to stand in solidarity with those who are experiencing extreme hardship. The money raised this year will go specifically to Caritas Gaza.Ìý Currently there are 35 students and staff signed up to participate.

The event will be held on Friday 12th September,  from 5-11 pm at 91°µÍø in the R-block Atrium.Ìý Cardboard City involves building cardboard shelters, eating plain cooked rice for dinner, a liturgy and time of reflection, plain popcorn for supper, and various games and activities.Ìý

You can either sponsor one of our Garin students individually, or make a donation to the event more generally. For direct electronic donations, the 91°µÍø Bank Account Number is: 12 3165 0231417 00. Please reference your payment with the code GAZA. Ideally we would submit our final total to Caritas by 1 October, 2025.

Thank you in anticipation for your support.Ìý
