Reminder of dates for the Sacrament of Confirmation 2024: Our Lady of Perpetual Help – Richmond
Thank you and congratulations to all those who successfully completed their first Sacrament of Reconciliation on or around the 9th June.
This is now a reminder that preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation will begin at the end of the second week of Term 3. Dates and times are as follows:
Confirmation:
Preparation Sessions:
Dates: 4th August, 11th August, 18th August, 25th August. A practice may be required at 5 pm on Thurs 5th Sept.泭Time: 9.30 – 11 am each Sunday with morning tea to follow.
The Sacrament of Confirmation will take place on Saturday 7th September at泭5 pm, with Archbishop Paul presiding. A light supper will follow.
Please note that Baptism is a prerequisite for the above sacraments and children must be 7-8 years or older. Parent sessions are held in conjunction with the childrens programme and parents are required to attend. They do not need to be regular church attendees.
